On September 8, the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) grandly opened at the Xiamen International Expo Center. COSCO SHIPPING Holdings showcased its latest innovative achievements in AI-empowered supply chain construction, along with its achievements in regional business and specialized services in Xiamen.

CIFIT is one of the most influential investment events globally, focusing on two-way investment promotion, authoritative information release, and investment trend discussions. The fair has attracted government investment promotion agencies, chambers of commerce and associations, and representatives of multinational corporations from approximately 100 countries and regions, along with over 1,000 domestic and foreign economic and trade delegations, about 5,000 enterprises, and more than 50,000 professional visitors. It has become an important platform for domestic and foreign economic and trade matching and cooperation.
At this exhibition, COSCO SHIPPING Holdings utilized diversified display forms such as model displays, realistic scene setups, integration of virtual and real elements, and interactive experiences to highlight innovative technological achievements in green transition and digital-empowerment within its core shipping and related logistics businesses. These include blockchain-based products on the GSBN platform, the IBOX series, the multimodal intelligent supply chain assistant, and the Hi-Eco series of low-carbon shipping products. Deeply rooted in Xiamen and cultivating the local market, the company fully leverages the locational hub advantages of Xiamen Port to provide integrated comprehensive logistics solutions for local and global clients.

Rail-Sea Line at COSCO SHIPPING’s Xiamen Ocean Gate Container Terminal
Centered on the Port of Xiamen and supported by 21 ocean trunk lines, this product connects over 20 inland rail services, serving a vast inland region including Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan, and Eastern Guangdong. It establishes an efficient and convenient new gateway to the sea for manufacturing enterprises in the central and western regions.
The project features the nation’s first dedicated waterfront line located just 70 meters from the quay front, achieving a “zero-distance” direct connection between trains and ships. This eliminates the need for truck drayage, effectively reducing the risk of cargo damage and sailing delays. Leveraging the innovative customs supervision model for “zone-port-rail-sea intermodal transport,” the project implements a “single declaration, single inspection, and single release” process. With zero-wait passage at railway checkpoints, intermediate procedures such as truck transshipment, storage, and double handling are eliminated. Consequently, the overall transport time is shortened by 2 to 3 days, helping enterprises reduce comprehensive logistics costs and enhance their market competitiveness.
Fujian-Jiangxi-Hubei One-Container-Through Land-Sea Rail Transport Service
With the Port of Xiamen as the core hub, this product covers the entire provinces of Jiangxi and Hubei. Currently, 17 rail-sea intermodal corridors connecting various locations in Jiangxi and Hubei to Xiamen have been opened, creating an efficient and stable logistics route to the sea for foreign trade enterprises in the central and western regions.
The product adopts a “single document, single price” service model, effectively reducing comprehensive logistics costs for enterprises. It resolves pain points for inland customers regarding picking up and returning empty containers, improves order response efficiency, and promotes standardized operations across the entire rail-sea intermodal transport chain.
Lu Lian Overseas Supply Chain Services
Addressing industry pain points such as dispersed overseas delivery resources, long communication chains, opaque logistics costs, and difficulty in handling contingencies, “Lu Lian” integrates resources including destination agents, land fleets, overseas warehouses, and customs clearance. Tailored to specific countries, cargo types, and delivery scenarios, it delivers customized, one-stop global supply chain solutions.
Currently, a portfolio of seven “Lu Lian” sub-products has been established, covering key overseas markets such as North America, Europe, Australia, Central Asia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Africa, continuously enhancing the stability of overseas delivery, operational efficiency, and full-process visualization capabilities.
Automotive Full-Chain Logistics Services
This business covers two major transportation sectors: finished vehicles and automotive parts. Finished vehicle logistics offers multi-modal transport options, supported by a full range of services including vanning, port aggregation, booking, customs clearance, bill issuance, and hazardous goods declaration. Parts logistics undertakes the full SKD/DKD/CKD process, providing services such as vehicle dismantling, packaging, vanning, cross-border transport, custodial warehousing of parts, and VMI/JIT lean logistics, comprehensively meeting the diversified logistics needs of the automotive industry’s import and export activities.
Container-Driven Supply Chain Product
Adhering to a customer demand-oriented approach, this product pre-positions container management functions and deeply integrates liner supply chain capabilities with the actual logistics requirements of enterprises to create innovative comprehensive logistics solutions. Equipped with IoT smart management devices for dry containers, the product collects key data such as real-time container location dynamics and internal environmental conditions, linking fragmented transportation nodes to build an efficient and transparent digital supply chain, ensuring stable and controllable transportation throughout the entire chain.
At this exhibition, COSCO SHIPPING Holdings will fully leverage the CIFIT platform to actively engage with global clients, industry partners, and high-quality industrial resources, conducting in-depth exchanges focused on supply chain innovation, cross-border industrial collaboration, green shipping development, and global market layout.
