On June 23, 2026, Chimbusco and Shenergy Group signed a procurement agreement for marine green methanol, securing 6,000 tons of marine green methanol — setting a new record for the largest single batch of green methanol procurement in China. The two companies held a delivery ceremony on June 24 at Shanghai Jinshan Vopak Terminal.

Recently, Chimbusco has been accelerating its deployment of methanol bunkering operations, launching methanol bunker delivery demonstration projects in multiple ports, including Shanghai Yangshan, Dalian, Ningbo, Zhoushan, Qingdao, and Shenzhen. On June 5, Chimbusco's newly built duplex stainless steel professional bunkering barge for methanol --“ZHONG RAN LV NENG 85” was delivered. This chemical tanker is capable of operating at different ports in China. In addition, Chimbusco is the officially designated methanol bunkering enterprise for both the Port of Shanghai and the Port of Ningbo, holding exclusive advantages in undertaking large quantities and multi-regional methanol bunker fuel orders to meet ship-owners’ diversified demands for green methanol bunkering.
