On June 9, as the vessel M.V. XIN TAI CANG departed from COSCO SHIPPING Yangpu Port, the newly launched premium India West Coast service was officially inaugurated, adding key capacity to connect the Hainan Free Trade Port with the South Asian market.

Operated on a biweekly schedule, the newly launched India West Coast service calls at Qinzhou, Yangpu, Haiphong, Singapore, Mundra, and Hong Kong, building a logistics network covering Southwest China, Southeast Asia, and the west coast of India. It precisely targets regional trade demands and will primarily carry local cargo types such as Yangpu paper products and polycarbonate, as well as machinery parts, PVC boards, and composite flooring shipped from domestic ports to Yangpu for transshipment via domestic and foreign trade on the same vessel. Calling directly at the port of Mundra in India, it creates a convenient logistics experience featuring “direct sailing of local cargo and rapid transshipment of inland cargo.”
As the core hub port of the Hainan Free Trade Port and a strategic node of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, COSCO SHIPPING Yangpu Port has always taken expanding its global service network and optimizing logistics services as its core mission. Leveraging the favorable policies of the Hainan Free Trade Port and the Group’s extensive shipping network, COSCO SHIPPING Yangpu Port continuously elevates its service capabilities and further enhances its transshipment service capacity to the Indian market, effectively shortening the logistics transit time from Southern China to the Indian West Coast region, and reducing both logistics and time costs for enterprises.
