Considering the evolving security situation in the Middle East and the restrictions on maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, COSCO SHIPPING LINES is closely monitoring developments in the region and maintaining close communication with relevant authorities and agencies. The safety and security of our crew, vessels, and your cargo remain our foremost priority.

To ensure the safety of all operations, we are issuing the following advisory regarding vessels and cargo at this stage:

1、Vessels that have already entered the Gulf, after completing the operations where safe to do so, have been instructed to proceed to safe waters to hover or anchor.

2、Vessels destining for the Gulf, have been notified to prioritize navigational safety, with measures including speed reduction, proceeding to safe waters, or awaiting further instructions at designated sheltered anchorages.

3、For detailed vessel information, please refer to Appendix Sheet.

4、We are currently evaluating contingency plans for all cargo onboard the affected vessels, including potential alternative discharge ports, in full compliance with the relevant provisions of our Bill of Lading Terms and Conditions.
