China COSCO SHIPPING Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as COSCO SHIPPING Group or the Group) is an SOE headquartered in Shanghai. It is the merged entity of China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company (COSCO) and China Shipping (Group) Company (China Shipping).

As of Dec 31, 2023, the total fleet of COSCO SHIPPING comprises of 1417 vessels with a total capacity of 116  million DWT, ranking No.1 in the world. Its container fleet capacity is 3.05 million TEU, ranking the fourth in  the  world. Its dry bulk fleet (436 vessels/46.32 million DWT), oil tanker fleet (229 vessels/28.58 million DWT)  and general and specialized cargo fleet (180 vessels/6.2 million DWT) are all topping the world’s list.

Thanks to its complete global service network, COSCO SHIPPING has become a top international brand.  The upstream and downstream links along the industry chain, such as shipping, terminals, logistics,  shipping finance, ship repair and shipbuilding, have formed a sound industrial structure. The Corporation has  invested in 57 terminals globally, including 50 container terminals. The annual handling capacity of its    container terminals amounts to 133 million TEU, taking the first place worldwide; the global sales volume of its  bunker fuel exceeds 29.99 million tons, which is the largest in the world; with a designed annual production  capacity of 1.4 million TEU, the container manufacturing ranks second in the world; and the container leasing  business scale reaches 3.80 million TEU, the third-largest in the world. Its offshore engineering manufacturing   competence  and  vessel agency business are also leading in the world.

It includes container shipping, dry bulk shipping, oil tanker shipping, specialized cargo shipping, and passenger liner service. The shipping industrial cluster is committed to consolidating and developing the position of COSCO SHIPPING as the world's biggest integrated shipping enterprise, ensuring efficient and smooth cargo flow on the global maritime transportation routes, and achieving the historical transition from “serving in the whole world” to “serving the whole world”.
Ports Industrial Cluster
The ports industrial cluster is committed to becoming a customer-oriented global leading integrated port operator, and strives to realize the shift from a global operator to a global leader, from a terminal investment operator to an integrated port operator, and from extended growth to leapfrog growth.
Logistics Industrial Cluster
It is committed to becoming a third-party logistics service provider with distinctive advantages, full business coverage and a leading market position. It looks to provide end-to-end logistics and supply chain products and services in deep synergy with the shipping and ports industry clusters.
Shipping Finance Industrial Cluster
With the vision of "creating an industrial finance business with market-leading products and competitiveness", it aims to be a key "cash flow contributor" of COSCO SHIPPING and a "profit stabilizer" to smooth out the cyclicality of the corporation’s main business.
Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Cluster
It is mainly engaged in shipbuilding, ship repair, offshore equipment and module manufacturing, provision of ship supporting facilities, as well as container and other logistics equipment manufacturing. While serving customers from both home and abroad, the industrial cluster aims to build a leading shipbuilding, container building and ship repair enterprise in China.
Value-added Service Industrial Cluster
