Mr. Zhu Bixin had previously served as the Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee of China Road and Bridge (Group) Corporation. He also held various positions in China Communications Construction Company, including Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee, Director of the Board, and Vice President. He also worked as Director of the Board, President, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman, and Party Secretary of China Chengtong Holdings Group Ltd. Additionally, he is a member of the 14th CPPCC National Committee and is part of the Committee for Liaison with Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese.
Mr. Jin Hongrong previously served as Deputy Director of the Military Electronics Bureau of the Ministry of Information Industry, Deputy Director of the Third Department of System Engineering of the State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, Head of China Electronic System Equipment Department, Chairman and Party Secretary of China Zhenhua Electronics Group Co., Ltd., Executive Vice President and Party Committee Member of China Electronics Corporation (CEC), as well as Director of the Board and Deputy Party Secretary of CEC.
Wang has been serving as External Director of COSCO SHIPPING since March 2021. Born in June 1957, he is now also member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). He once served as Deputy Director and member of the Party Group of Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC); President and Deputy Party Secretary of China National Aviation Holding Company (CNAH); Vice Minister and member of the Party Group of Ministry of Transport (MOT); President and Deputy Party Secretary of China Southern Air Holding Company (CSAH); as well as Board Chairman and Party Secretary of CSAH.
Yao became External Director of COSCO SHIPPING in May 2022. Born in October 1965, he is currently Deputy to the 13th National People’s Congress, Executive Director, Chairman and CEO of Hong Kong Shanghai Alliance Holdings Limited, and Independent Non-executive Director of China Railway Signal & Communication Corp and Kader Holdings Company Limited. He was previously Independent Non-executive Director of Shanghai Dazhong Public Utilities (Group) Co., Ltd. The positions he holds in public office include President of the Hong Kong-Shanghai Economic Development Association, Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce, Member of the Board of Trustees of Fudan University, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Lingnan University. He was awarded the Hong Kong Young Industrialist Award by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries in 2004, Justice of the Peace by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2008 and the Bronze Bauhinia Star Award by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2016. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
Mr. Xu Gaofeng, born in December 1969, has been serving as an external director for China COSCO SHIPPING Corporation Limited since July 2024. He currently holds the position of a full-time external director for state-owned enterprises and is an external director for China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH) and China Green Development Investment Group (CGDG). His impressive career also includes previous roles such as the deputy general manager of China National Chemical Construction Corporation (CNCCC), chairman and general manager of CNCCC International Tendering Co.,Ltd., vice president of China BlueChemical Ltd., secretary of the Youth League Working Committee of Central Enterprises, inspector of the board of supervisors for key large state-owned enterprises, and deputy general manager, party group member, general counsel, and chief compliance officer of China Grain Reserves Group Ltd. Company. Mr. Xu is a distinguished graduate of the School of Management at Tianjin University, where he earned his doctorate degree in Management Science and Engineering. He also holds the title of Professor-level Senior Engineer.
Mr. Gao Tongqing was appointed as an external director of China COSCO SHIPPING Corporation Limited in July 2025. Born in January 1964, he is a distinguished expert honored with the State Council Special Allowance, a professor-level senior engineer, and a recipient of the prestigious National May Day Labor Medal. Mr. Gao currently holds multiple positions, including Deputy Director of the China Mobile Science and Technology Committee, Chairman of GTI, Co-Chairman of the Central Enterprise Think Tank Alliance under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, expert member of the National Data Expert Consultative Committee, and council member of the Nanjing University Yangtze River Industrial Economic Research Institute. His previous executive experience includes serving as Deputy Director of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Post and Telecommunications Administration, Chairman and President of China Telecom Xinjiang Company and Jiangsu Company, as well as senior leadership positions at China Telecom and China Mobile Communications Group, where he was a member of the Party Committee, Vice President, General Legal Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer. A Doctor of Management graduate from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and renowned for his academic insights and practical leadership, Mr. Gao has made significant contributions in scientific and technological innovation, information technology, international operations, equity investment, and regulatory policy. His outstanding achievements have earned him top national honors, including the First Prize of the China Institute of Communications Science and Technology Award and the First Prize of the National Communication Industry’s Modern Innovation Achievements in Enterprise Management.

Mr. Zhang Yong formerly served as Deputy Inspector of the Bureau of Industry Injury Investigation of the Ministry of Commerce; Deputy Inspector of the No.2 Group of Economics, as well as Deputy Inspector and Deputy Director of the No.4 Bureau of Economics at the Office of the CPC Central Leading Group for Financial and Economic Affairs; Director of the No.2 Bureau of Economics, Deputy Director of the Secretariat (also in charge of human resource), and Executive Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the the Central Financial and Economic Affairs Commission.
Mr. Zhang Feng formerly served as General Manager of Americas Trade Zone of COSCO SHIPPING Lines, Executive Vice President of COSCO SHIPPING Southeast Asia, President of COSCO SHIPPING North America, Executive Vice President of COSCO SHIPPING Holdings, and President of COSCO SHIPPING Lines. He owns a bachelor’s degree.
He previously served as Deputy General Manager of the Network Division of China Mobile, Director and Vice President of China Mobile (Hunan), Director and Vice President of China Mobile (Beijing), General Manager of the Procurement Sharing Service Center, General Manager of the Supply Chain Management Center, and General Manager of the Planning and Construction Division.
