On November 25, the “Green Marine Fuels” parallel sub-forum of the 2025 Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality International Forum, titled was held at the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. The event was jointly organized by CHIMBUSCO and the China Energy Research Society. Centered on the theme “Linking Supply and Demand, Building a Green Shipping Industry Together,” the “Green Marine Fuels” sub-forum serves as a bridge between the new energy supply side with the shipping demand side. It aimed to gather new energy producers, shipping customers, industry experts, and other stakeholders to jointly explore the path of decarbonization and transformation in the shipping industry.

CHIMBUSCO stated that global shipping decarbonization has entered a critical phase, with the IMO’s “Net Zero Framework” and China’s “Carbon Peak & Carbon Neutrality” strategy clearly chartering the transformation path. As a comprehensive service provider with a presence in over 170 ports worldwide, CHIMBUSCO recorded 28.23 million tons of global sales in 2024, maintaining its position as the world’s top player. It has made multiple breakthroughs in green methanol, biofuels, LNG, and other fields, including leading the formulation of group standards, developing mobile refueling skids, and promoting the construction of methanol bunkering vessels. It has already achieved a full-chain bunkering closed loop since July 2025. Looking ahead, CHIMBUSCO will adhere to its “Five Guarantees” service philosophy, leveraging its global network to help new energy enterprises release production capacity. It will deliver one-stop low-carbon transformation solutions for shipping customers, enabling more domestically produced green fuels to be utilized on vessels and sail across the deep seas.
The forum included keynote speeches and panel discussions, where industry experts shared in-depth insights on topics such as carbon neutrality strategies, international decarbonization policies, shipbuilding industry development, and alternative fuels demand. At the signing session, CHIMBUSCO signed cooperation agreements with COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation, Guangdong Construction Engineering Group, Guangzhou Gas Group, and China National Electric Engineering. These partnerships will further broaden raw material supply and deepen synergy in shipping service.
