Recently, COSCO SHIPPING and Xiaomi officially launched the mobile phone warehouse project in the PANAPARK Free Trade Zone in Panama. Witnessed by both parties, the first batch of Xiaomi mobile phones was successfully stored and shelved, marking a new phase in the cooperation between the two parties in the Americas region.

In the future, this mobile phone warehouse will serve as a key distribution center for Xiaomi in the Central and South American markets, primarily undertaking core functions including storage, sorting, packaging, labeling, and air distribution of mobile phone products. After the project becomes operational, it will significantly enhance supply chain efficiency and ensure a more efficient and rapid delivery of Xiaomi mobile phones to regional markets.

Since 2021, COSCO SHIPPING has continued to expand its overseas warehousing business operations with Xiaomi in Panama, earning high recognition from the Xiaomi team through fully customized end-to-end services. This has led to continuously deepened cooperation and steady growth in business volume. The implementation of this project will lay a solid foundation for the in-depth cooperation between the two parties in the region.

The warehouse is located in the PANAPARK Free Trade Zone, adjacent to the Panama International Airport. It provides quick access to the main domestic highway network as well as port and airport facilities, and benefits from comprehensive bonded policies and institutional advantages. It is suitable for the handling of goods such as electronic products, automotive spare parts, and high-value-added consumer goods that require high-efficiency distribution and tariff optimization.

The commissioning of this warehouse has further enhanced COSCO SHIPPING’s warehousing resource layout in Panama, significantly improving its comprehensive storage service capabilities and better meeting customers’ diverse storage and supply chain needs.
