On August 1 local time, as the first batch of 279 vehicles was successfully loaded onto the vessel M.V. MIN JIANG KOU at the Peruvian port of Chancay, COSCO SHIPPING officially launched the port’s international automotive transshipment service. As the maiden voyage of the “Tianjin Port-Chancay Port” international ro-ro shipping route, the operation also marks establishing a new and premium logistics corridor for automakers from China’s Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region to access South American markets.

Utilizing the port’s intelligent dispatch system, all 279 vehicles were efficiently loaded before undergoing professional lashing and securing procedures for transshipping to multiple destinations along South America’s western coast.
