COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry successfully delivered the Scarborough FPU Project R3973 (N1048LQ) Living Quarter in its inaugural collaboration with Woodside and McDermott.

The Living Quarter is 53.2 meters in length, 18.3 meters in width, 17.85 meters in height, with a total weight of approximately 3250 tons. The entire living area can accommodate 75 people.

Certified by DNV and compliant with AMSA and ISO standards, this project is designed to endure extreme offshore conditions for 40 years. The noise and vibration designs of the Living Quarters meet the requirements of Norsok and NOPSEMA, ensuring exceptional living comfort.

The project will be deployed in the Scarborough gas field, approximately 220 kilometers off the northwest coast of Australia.
