A new generation of jack-up offshore wind installation vessel is here! This customized vessel built by COSCO SHIPPING (Qidong) Offshore has a 5600 m2 deck and 4 ‘long legs’. These 120 metre long legs are designed for a water depth of up to 70 metres and can transport and install 7 sets of 15 MW wind turbines simultaneously. There is also a main crane that can carry more than 2,500 tonnes.

With 820 batteries on board, good for a capacity of 5,000 kilowatts and a methanol dual-fuel system, this vessel maximizes energy conservation and emission reduction.

Another special feature of the vessel is its automation level, with 10431 signal acquisition points, which is 4000 points more than similar projects.
