After the strong earthquake hit Turkey, the rescue work led by various parties continued to roll out across the affected regions. Recently, with the strong support of the board of directors, CSP Kumport Terminal donated two million liras to the central government of Turkey to help Turkish people fight against the disaster and rebuild their homes. The terminal staff also participated in the rescue operation, demonstrating the sense of social responsibility of Kumport as an international port operator.
Kumport, the third largest container terminal in Turkey, is located in the Ambarli port area on the northwest coast of the Sea of Marmara, which is part of Istanbul in Europe and is more than 1100 km away from the epicenter in Gaziantep. So far, it has not been affected by the earthquake and remains in normal operation.
